Peru -Machu Picchu is where the Incas once lived. You can take a hike up to this location, or you can take a bus. Then, you can view the amazing civilization - Even if hiking is not your thing, witnessing the beauty of the Colca Canyon should not be missed. Along with its spectacular scenery, the Colca Canyon’s claim to fame is that it’s twice as deep as the Grand Canyon in the United States, though the walls are not as vertical or dramatic. -Located in the Nazca Desert plains, the peculiar Nazca Lines are a series of ancient geoglyphs that range from wildlife to geometric designs. There are several theories about how and why the geoglyphs were created but it seems nothing is conclusive. Mexico -The iconic archaeological site at Chichen Itza has been classified as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Chichen Itza is one of the most visited archaeological sites in Mexico; an estimated 1.2 million tourists visit the ruins every year. -Cancun has some of the prettiest and well known beaches, making it a common tourist destination. Cancun is also known for some extreme spring-breakers. They flock to the parties which hold capacities of 15,000 people. United States -Niagara Falls is an iconic location that is famous for symbolizing love. It is also the fourth largest waterfall in the world.The Niagara Falls are made up of 3 waterfalls, the American Falls, the Bridal Veil Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. -Gaylord Michigan is a small town where almost everyone knows each other, Gaylord is an "Alpine Village" where the host an annual festival in July called Alpenfest. Gaylord also sports camping, world class golfing, and seasonal mushroom hunting. -Denver Mint is a place As the single largest producer of coins in the world, the Denver Mint dates back to 1862 and is known for its output of commemorative coins. |
